METHOD FOR PRODUCING ANIMAL FEED USING WASTE FROM THE FOOD INDUSTRY

The present invention pertains to the industry of animal feed production and more precisely relates to methods for producing feed for farm animals and poultry which imply using waste from the food industry and producing fish, bone or bone and meat flour. The purpose of this method is to produce animal feed with a balanced carbohydrate, protein and mineral substance content and with a high nutritive and biological value. This method further reduces the duration of the industrial process. The method of the present invention comprises milling waste from the fishing industry, mixing said waste to peat and drying this mixture. The waste from the food industry may also consist in waste from the meat-processing industry. The drying step is carried out in drying devices at a temperature of between 90 and 95 DEG C and under a heating-steam pressure in the device body ranging from 0.3 to 0.5 MPa. The drying step is carried out until the humidity of the end product ranges from 6 to 10 %. The ratio between the waste and the peat is 5-6: 0.5-1.5, respectively. The waste from the meat-processing industry may also consist in the refuse obtained during the production of bone or bone and meat flour.
