The adjacent plates (2.1,2.2) are only reinforced (3) at their join (4) using a trough (8) formed by the recessed edge parts (6.1,6.2) of the two plates, and after the join has been reinforced a reinforcing or jointing mortar (9) is applied so as to fill out trough (8). The mortar is in turn topped by plaster (5).
