<p>The present invention provides a detergent composition exhibiting excellent detergency against mud stains. Specifically, a detergent composition comprising a polymer having the following general formula: (A)m(B)n in which A is a unit having at least one carboxylic group in the molecule, but no other anionic group; B is a unit having a sulfonic acid group or a sulfuric acid group in the molecule; (A)m and (B)n may form either a random or block polymer; and m and n are such numbers that the m/n ranges from 100:1 to 1:1 and that the weight-average molecular weight of the polymer ranges from 4,000 to 200,000.</p> |
