Re-useable image recording medium has a base layer and a surface layer swollen by water, comprising a water-soluble resin (I) crosslinked with a hydrophilic isocyanate component (II). Independent claims are also included for: (a) a method of producing the medium; and (b) a method of removing a print material from the medium.
