Structural prefabricated building design

The bearing and non-bearing elements of the prefabricated structure consist of profiled and in part thinwalled beams (10,11) made of homogenized wood and faced in plates (13) of the same material to give a thinwalled box structure of extreme rigidity, precision and insulating properties. The abutted outside walls make up an integrated highly insulating and windproof three-chamber (2) system, or again a two-chamber system of similar properties. The abutted chamber elements retain their continuity and in multi-storey buildings the outside walls are protended per storey beyond that below to form a drip edge per storey and give ventilating air convection. Building prefabrication includes heat insulation, windows and doors and service lines, sanitation and air-conditioning as well as communication provision.
