A non-aqueous, liquid electrolyte containing conductive compound(s) dissolved in a mixture of at least two non-aqueous solvents, in which the total electrolyte composition lies within the range from +10 to -10 mol.% of its eutectic composition. An Independent claim is also included for primary or secondary batteries, condensers, supercondensers or electrolytic cells containing this composition as electrolyte.
