Airplane monitoring method

摘要

The method involves monitoring a side deviation from a given path of airplanes which land on adjacent parallel runways. A distance of an airplane approaching a runway is recorded, preferably by means of a secondary radar, and an antenna arrangement determines the direction of the airplane in an azimuth with respect to the antenna arrangement. The directional detection results by means of an interferometer method. An Independent claim is provided for an airplane monitoring arrangement.
