Alkyl ether derivatives represented by general formula (1) or salts thereof, which are useful as excellent calcium antagonists, wherein R<1> represents optionally substituted aryl or heterocycle; R<2> represents hydrogen or hydroxy; R<3> represents (a) (wherein R<4> represents optionally substituted cyclic amino; and R<5> represents optionally substituted alkyl, or R<4> and R<5> may form together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded optionally substituted cyclic amino), or a nitrogen-containing saturated 6-membered ring having a bond from a carbon atom in the ring; m is an integer of 1 to 5; and n is an integer of 2 to 6.
