The mobile location identification unit cooperates with a communications network peripheral, for providing network subscriber identification information, allowing the location of the subscriber to be logged for automatic call transfer. The location identification unit may be provided by a radio transponder incorporated in a watch or a belt, which communications with a device incorporated in a telephone socket.
