The arrangement includes an over-current protection (10) comprising a fuse wire (18) and two connecting wires (13, 14) which are connected through electric welding (16, 17) fixed at both ends through contact places (11, 12). The arrangement includes a casing with a socket and an electronic ballast circuit which comprises an over-current protection. The over-current protection (10) comprises a fuse wire (18) and two connecting wires (13, 14) which are connected through welding, and which are fixed at both ends through contact places, whereby one contact place is associated with a free connecting wire end. Each of both free connecting wire ends lies at one of both contact places (11, 12), and both connections between the fuse wire and the connecting wires are respectively an electric welding (16, 17).
