<p>The folder has two jaws (1, 5) with inward-sloping active surfaces, able to slide relative to one another in a direction parallel to one side (4b, 6b) of the surfaces between contacting and separated positions. The jaws are connected by at least one elastic component (15, 16) which tends to hold the jaws together, and each jaw is also attached to a pusher (3, 12). One of the jaws is carried by the central portion of a crosspiece (7) forming part of a stirrup, while the other extends between the sides (8, 9) of the stirrup, which are connected to the corresponding pusher. The folder can be made, for example, from titanium alloy or stainless steel to be reusable, or from an injected plastic with metal or plastic elastic components if disposable.</p> |
