PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of uniformly applying powder to the surface of a food dough having tacky surface such as dough of daifuku- mochi(rice cake stuffed with sweetened bean jam), bread, etc., without contacting with the surface of the dough. SOLUTION: This powder application apparatus is provided with a transfer belt for transferring food dough, brushes 31, 32, 33, 34 rotating at both sides of the transfer belt, checking members placed in the rotating ranges of the brushes 31, 32, 33, 34 to scatter the powder attached to the brushes toward the product and a suction fan to prevent the scattering of the flying excess powder to the outside of the apparatus. Powder is almost uniformly applied to the surface by this apparatus without contacting the dough with the apparatus and excess powder is recovered to maintain the work site in sanitary state. |
