A tower scaffold 1 of square or rectangular horizontal section comprising one or more tower elements 10,20,30. The tower elements preferably comprise a pair of support members 51,61 generally of U- or H-form. The central element of the support member constitutes the bracing member. The first support member 51 has an upstanding lug (58, fig 2) at its centre. The second support member has a socket (68,fig 2) which receives said lug. Said second member is formed with an integral, vertical ladder section (69, fig 2). Adjustable and lockable wheels or castors 72 are fitted to the lower ends of posts 71. A generally triangular temporary platform (110, fig 6) may be used to facilitate construction. |
