PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image distortion correction device in which pin-cushion distortion is corrected with magnets by solving a conventional problem, in which scanning lines of a video image displayed on a CRT move at random resulting in causing asynchronous luminance uneven due to asynchronous noise or the like on a correction current supplied to a convergence coil in a display device employing the conventional CRT the pin cushion distortion caused in the video image is displayed on the CRT has been corrected by supplying the correction current to the convergence coil. SOLUTION: This device is configured by mounting image distortion correction magnets 2, 3 on upper and lower parts of a CRT 1 respectively and using the image distortion correction magnets to correct the pin-cushion distortion of a video image displayed on the CRT.
