PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection and measurement device of radioactive waste seal vessel capable of accurately inspecting and measuring without transporting at every item of inspection and measurement. SOLUTION: A turn table 12 is placed on a sealed inspection vessel 11, a canister 2 is rotatably set via a weight meter 13a and a small gauge 15, a large gauge 16 is passed in inserting the canister 2 in the inspection vessel 11 to measure to be below the largest diameter and measure the weight with the weight meter 13a. To be over the smallest diameter is measured with the small gauge 15, a rotating canister 2 is visually inspected by moving up and down a TV camera 18, a smear filter paper 19c is moved up and down and contacted to inspect surface contamination, and a height sensor 17c is contacted to measure the height. Air is sucked in the inspection vessel 11 to measure the inlet temperature, the outlet temperature and flowrate of the air and obtain heat generation. By inspecting confinement with a sampling filter 21 provided at the air outlet 11c, a multitude of items are inspected and measured with one set.
