PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a treatment facility in accordance with properties of waste from various waste treatment methods and to optimize the kind and quantity of the waste to be introduced into the facility. SOLUTION: A database 10 containing data on the kinds and quantities of waste, data on treatment facilities, data on recycled products, data on the transportation of waste and recycled products, and others is built up, on the basis of the data base 10, an operation means 20 to calculate an environmental load and treatment costs caused by waste treatment, and an output means 30 for displaying the operation results are prepared. Besides incineration, various treatment methods can be selected to reduce incineration residuals, to use recycled products effectively, effecting environmental protection. |
