PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving body for recording having an appearance quality which is equivalent to silver salt photograph by a method wherein the image receiving body for recording is formed of a supporting sheet, a release layer and an image receiving layer, and for the image receiving layer, pre-cut parts are provided so that a frame may be formed around it, and the image receiving body for recording is constituted in such a manner that when the image receiving layer is separated from the supporting sheet, the release layer remains on the supporting sheet. SOLUTION: This image receiving body 1 for recording is constituted by laminating an image receiving layer 1a, a supporting sheet 1b and a release layer (adhesive layer) 1c. Then, when the image receiving layer is separated from the supporting sheet 1b, the release layer 1c remains on the supporting sheet 1b side, and the image receiving body 1 for recording is constituted in a manner to prevent the adhesion of the release layer 1c from remaining on the image receiving layer 1a. Also, a cut line 1e of a square shape or the like is formed on the image receiving layer 1a, and the inside (pre-cut part 1g) and the outside (frame 1f) of the cut line 1e can be divided. For the pre-cut part 1g, a plurality of them are provided, and an identification (detection) mark 1d in order to identify the number of the pre-cut parts 1g is provided on the frame 1f. The image receiving layer 1a is formed preferably by a thickness of 150-300μm.
