PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a recovering efficiency of a base material resin. SOLUTION: The method for recovering a base material resin is to recover the base material resin 5 of a resin molding 3 having a predetermined coating film 1 formed on a surface of the resin 5 by a formation of the resin 5 of a radiation decomposition type resin material deteriorated by a radioactive ray radiation. The method comprises a radioactive ray radiating step of substantially deteriorating only a surface layer 5a of the resin 5 by radiating an electron beam 7 having a predetermined energy to the molding 3 until it arrives at a predetermined absorption dose, and a coating film removing step of comminuting the layer 5a deteriorated by the radiation of the resin 5 by applying a mechanical impact to remove it together with the film 1.
