<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image input device the performance of which is enhanced, while keeping miniaturization and photographing immediacy. SOLUTION: When a sum of a reception scheduled size of data received by a communication function 301 and a data size of a predetermined photographed image in a current image-pickup mode (photographic image quality mode) is higher than a memory residual capacity of storage means 304, a compression rate of an image compression means 306 is set higher by revising the current image pickup mode. Thus, the compatibility between the immediacy of photographing and of communication is established by having a provision for sudden reception of data during the photographing.</p> |
