INTERNET SERVICE FOR ISDN

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internet service using the data (D) channel of an integrated digital service network(ISDN) line further in details concerning the provision of a data service, based on an internet protocol(IP). SOLUTION: Concerning the method or device to be used for a system for providing a similar service to an internet 113 through a packet exchange 109 connected through each D channel of the ISDN line to plural user terminals, this method is composed of a stage or means for determining whether the packet exchange 109 can process the D channel packet or not at the almost current arrival rate of D channel packets and a stage or means for transmitting at least one control message indicating the necessity to lower the almost current arrival rate when the result on the determining stage indicates the packet exchange 109 can not process the D channel packet at the almost current arrival rate.
