PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a waste gas treating device and to reduce the cost of the device. SOLUTION: A waste gas is separated into the first waste gas and second waste gas, gaseous ammonia is injected into the first waste gas, the first gas charged with the ammonia is supplied to the upper stage of a desulfurization and denitration tower 51, the second waste gas as such is supplied to the lower stage of the tower 51, the first waste gas is discharged from the upper stage of the tower 51, the second waste gas is discharged from the lower stage of the tower 51 and they are supplied to a denitration tower 58, and gaseous ammonia is injected into the second waste gas to be supplied to the denitration tower 58. Since the gaseous ammonia is injected into the second waste gas discharged from the lower stage of the desulfurization and denitration tower 51, the second waste gas is sufficiently denitrated in the denitration tower 58. |
