PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detoxicate wastes at low cost and high efficiency to the level as high as that achieved by using supercritical water. SOLUTION: Super high temperature steam is generated by Brown's gas flames 13, 203 and oxidation reaction fields 15, 215 are produced in a first and a second oxidation chambers 16, 216 by mixing an oxidizing agent with the super high temperature steam. Wastewater to be treated is sent to the oxidation reaction fields 15, 215 and oxidized and decomposed to be detoxicated. |
