PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively perform fund raising while a transaction is carried out via an ATM(automatic teller machine) by incorporating a fund raising processing into a transaction processing flow of the ATM to allow a customer to pay an amount on the fund raising account at his option. SOLUTION: If some change is to be paid back after a customer's transfer transaction via an ATM, a fund raising option screen is shown on a CRT display 7, i.e., a display/operation part of the ATM to ask the customer if he has a will for found raising before the change is returned to him. The fund raising option screen shows how to deal with fund raising processing, fund raising type selection keys 8a to 8c and a cancel key 9 that selects no fund raising. When the key 9 is pushed, the change is returned to the customer. If the customer pushes one of keys 8a to 8c, a designated input amount is subtracted from the change and the difference is paid to a selected fund raising account. Thereafter, the remaining change is returned to the customer. |
