PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor inspecting and repairing line wherein necessary space is small, costs are low and good workability/efficiency is provided. SOLUTION: A motor inspecting and repairing line directly connected with an automatic storage and retrieval system comprises an automatic storage and retrieval system 3 including a plurality of housing spaces respectively having addresses, a plurality of delivery entrances 3a to 3k also having addresses, a carrying mechanism for transferring a motor and parts thereof between the housing spaces and the delivery entrances 3a to 3k and a computer system for controlling the carrying mechanism, pluralities of work places and facilities 2a to 2k for maintaining/inspecting the motor, and carrier conveyors 1a to 1k arranged one to one between the pluralities of work places and facilities 2a to 2k and the delivery entrances 3a to 3k of the automatic storage and retrieval system.
