PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable application to playing other musical pieces as well and to ensure the conduction of play training in a manner as not to be boring at the time of play training of exercise musical pieces by controlling the training of play in accordance with the lessen information constituted by properly combining plural training pieces having a relation with the exercise musical pieces. SOLUTION: The lessen information is allocated with plural kinds of the exercise musical pieces by each genre, such as 'enka' ballad, popular and classic selected by a genre switch. A player selects the exercise musical piece that himself or herself desires to play from these musical pieces. The lessen information (B) is thereby automatically constituted. The information on the musical pieces having the specific relations with the exercise musical pieces is selected for the musical piece information of the respective lessens. Namely, the lessen information is constituted by selection of the musical pieces having the training patterns necessary for playing the exercise musical pieces. The reading out extraction of the lessen information corresponding to the exercise musical pieces determined by the selection of the genre are executed and the setting of various kinds of automatic play processing is executed.
