PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater which is applicable to a cooking device placed in a microwave oven, efficiently heats the inside of stuff to be cooked by the irradiation of a microwave, and is capable of browning its surface at the sometime. SOLUTION: A heating layer 3 comprising a microwave-absorbing heating substance is formed into mesh-like on the surface of the metal made core material 2 for to constituting a heater 1 for a frequency heating device. One part of the microwave radiated from a high frequency generation means is irradiated onto the heating layer 3, and the surface of the stuff to be cooked placed on the heater 1 is browned corresponding to the mesh shape. While the surface and the inside of the stuff to be cooked are heated efficiently by the action of the remaining microwave passing through the openings 5 of the mesh portion of the core material 2. |
