PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microinductor which is capable of being downsized and applied to highly efficient, high-output converters. SOLUTION: A copper-plated flat coil 2a is formed on the surface of a magnetic substrate 1a. Furthermore, a magnetic core 3 is arranged on the substrate 1a. A closed magnetic path structure is formed by the substrate 1a and the core 3. The substrate 1a and the core 3 constituting the closed magnetic path structure are made of materials having an initial permeabilityμi of 500 or higher and an energy loss E of 100 or lower, at measured frequencies which range from 100 to 1,000 kHz.
