PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress or remove a haze of an image receiving layer by forming a high quality image. SOLUTION: In the recording sheet comprising a base plate, and an image receiving layer disposed on at least one surface of the plate, the receiving layer is adapted to an image reception of an aqueous ink, and contains a binder polymer and an additive selected from the group consisting of a (5-carboxy-4- hexyl-2-cyclohexene-1-il)octanoic acid, a (6-carboxy-4-hexyl-2-cyclohexene-1-il) octanoic acid, a saccharin salt, a dihexylsulfosuccinimide, a benzoate, a monohydroxy-substituted benzoate, a dihydroxy-substituted benzoate, a trihydroxy-substituted benzoate, a benzenesulfonate, a dihydroxy-substituted benzenesulfonate or the like and their mixtures. |
