PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge and an ink jet recording apparatus utilizing specific color ink to enable printing having a texture feeling. SOLUTION: An ink jet recording apparatus has an ink cartridge 100 wherein ink chambers 10C, 10M, 10Y capable of housing standard color inks and other ink chamber 10S capable of housing specific color ink are together provided and standard color, light color and specific color inks are charged and the ink chamber 10S of the specific color ink is relatively large in vol. and only the specific color ink is oily ink and the ink cartridge is connected to a C.P.U. means equipped with a color selection means and a specific color display means. |
