PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase grip strength and slip torque by providing a plurality of segments extending in the axial direction on a body member formed with holes. SOLUTION: A reaped change chuck device is provided with a body member 225 forming axis in the center lengthwise direction, and a hole 220 formed in the body member 225 so as to receive the shank of a circular tool. The body member 225 is provided with a plurality of slits 244 extending from the front end part or the front end face of the body member 225 to the rear end part of the body member 225. The slit 244 is formed with segment 243 in the axial direction. Consequently, the segment 243 can radically compress against the shank of a tool inserted in the hole 220. The hole 220 is tapered from the front end part of the front face of the body member 225 to the end part rearward in the axial direction. |
