PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cuts or breakage of an insulating cover, when a braided wire of a shielded electric wire and a shielded terminal are connected by melting a low melting point connecting material by applying ultrasonic vibration through an insulating cover, and surely connect with a low melting point connecting material. SOLUTION: A shielded electric wire 15 consisting of a core wire part 16 made of a conductor, an insulating inner cover 17 covering the core wire part 16,a braided wire 18 arranged in the surrounding of the insulating inner cover 17 and an insulating outer cover 19 arranged in the surrounding of the braided wire 18 and covering the insulating inner cover 17 and the braided wire 18 is connected to a shielded terminal 21 the one side of which is coated with a low melting point connecting material. One side of the shielded terminal 21 is inserted into a shielded electric wire 15 from the surface of the insulating outer cover 19, so that the low melting point connecting material faces the braided wire 18. By applying ultrasonic vibration through the insulating outer cover 19 with a plurality of small projections 32 at the tip of an ultrasonic wave horn 30 in the inserting state, the low melting point connecting material is melted, and one side of the shielded terminal 21 and the braided wire 18 are connected electrically.
