A cosmetic composition for the skin, including the scalp, comprising (a) at least one specific ester which is a monoester of a C4-C10 aliphatic acid and a C16-C18 aliphatic alcohol, and (b) hollow particles exhibiting a mean particle size ranging from 1 mu m to 300 mu m. This composition can be used as face cleanser, deodorant, and, in particular, as a shaving product.
