<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress the occurrence of applied voltage drop on a liquid crystal layer, to decrease the number of stages of coating application at the time of production and to avert the coating application even to points, such as terminal electrode parts, not desired to be coated and the coating of these parts with insulating layers. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal layer 34 is disposed between a pair of substrates 11 and 12 and color filter layers 25 consisting of conductive particles and pigments formed by using a micell electrolysis method are laminated on pixel electrodes 23 formed on one substrate 12 of these substrates 11, 12. The surfaces of the color filter layers 25 are directly coated with an alignment layer 27.</p> |
