PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-stabilized power supply wherein its stable output can be obtained over a region of its load varying therein, even if it is of a constitution in which the sensing accuracy of its input current is poor. SOLUTION: An input-current sensing circuit 420 senses the AC current fed from a commercial AC power supply 100. An input-voltage sensing circuit 430 senses a rippled voltage which is obtained by rectifying the AC voltage fed from the commercial AC power supply 100 through bridged diodes 401. An overall equipment controlling circuit 80 predicts the load current required by a load RL. A switching-pulse generating circuit 410 outputs pulse signals to a switching FET 405, based on the input current signal sensed by the input- current sensing circuit 420, the input voltage signal sensed by the input-voltage sensing circuit 430, and the load current signal predicted by the overall equipment control circuit 80. |
