PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate effect of gravity on the driving of a correction lens and to make a device light in weight and small in size by arranging either or the other of ocular shake correcting mechanisms for an up-and-down direction and a right-and-left direction in a horizontal optical path or a vertical optical path in a horizontal observation state, and rocking right and left correction lenses or driving them in the right-and-left direction of a mirror body in the ocular shake correcting mechanism in the horizontal optical path. SOLUTION: The ocular shake correcting mechanism 23 in the horizontal optical path is equipped with a rocking arm 24 having turning center in parallel with an optical axis between right and left optical axes, the correction lenses 25a and 26b respectively positioned and supported at both ends of the arm 24 on the right and left optical axes, and an actuator normally and reversely driving the arm 24 in accordance with the magnitude and the direction of the ocular shake imparted to the binocular device. In the mechanism 23, the negative lens 25a and the positive lens 26b are rocked on the plane orthogonal to the right and left optical axes OP. Namely, by driving the arm 24, the ocular shake in the right-and-left direction imparted to the binoculars is corrected. |
