PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for an automobile preventing generation of a sound separating/attaching rubber due to vibration by applying a paint composition to a location where the rubber of the weather strip is brought into mutual contact. SOLUTION: In a weather strip, mineral powder is added in a pigment selected as a binder, a paint composition obtained by dilution mixing with a dilution solvent having a quick drying property is applied to a location with rubber of the weather strip into mutual contact, so as to prevent a sound of rubber separating/attaching due to vibration at vehicle running time. As the mineral powder, talc (magnesium silicate), apophyllite, muscovite, phlogopite, are crushed, one kind of powder selected from powder of 20 μm or less average grain size is applied, and a carbon system paste-shaped black pigment is used in the pigment. In the dilution solvent, one kind of a solvent selected from ethyl acetate and methyl ethyl ketone is used. |
