PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve regulation characteristics of an output voltage, by providing a circuit with the characteristics that are essentially identical or similar to a voltage drop characteristics of a voltage drop element, and hence by correcting a reference voltage by a signal (voltage) approximating the voltage drop characteristics of the voltage drop element. SOLUTION: When a voltage drop element is not a diode but a resistor, the constant of the resistor is determined, so that linear voltage drop characteristics caused by the voltage drop element and the increment in the output voltage of a main circuit 11 are canceled, thus also correcting the voltage drop of the linear voltage characteristics. Even when the voltage drop element has the series characteristics of the diode and the resistor, the diode and the resistor are provided in series instead of a diode 7, thus also correcting the voltage drop with the characteristics where the linear characteristics are mixed with nonlinear ones. Furthermore, the parasitic resistor of a supply line existing between a DC output terminal 15 and a load 14 can also be corrected by including it in the voltage drop element. |
