PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air belt in which a cover is prevented from moving freely relative to a sack-shaped belt, and offer an air belt device which incorporates the described air belt. SOLUTION: An air belt 2B is equipped with a sack-shaped belt 10 folded up in a band form and a knit cover 12 consisting of textile surrounding the sack-shaped belt 10. The inner surface of the knit cover 12 is adhered to the outer surface of the folded-up member by an adhesive layer 11. The mutually overlapping portion 12a of knit cover 12 along its side edges is adhered by the layer 11. The knit cover 12 expands and contracts flexibly in the direction across the width, but is not substantially elongated in the longitudinal direction owing to a hot stretching treatment. |
