PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily read the amplitude value of a display waveform based on an amplitude target line even if a linear scaling operation is made by automatically setting the weighting variable of an interval after the linear scaling operation to an optimum integer. SOLUTION: A display screen generation part 2 inputs the measurement data of a measurement part 1, a waveform generation part 3 processes the measurement data to a display waveform, and a scale generation part 4 generates a plurality of equal interval amplitude scale lines and time scale lines. A linear scaling operation part 7 changes a weighting with an equal interval of a plurality of adjacent amplitude scale lines according to a desired linear scaling and displays it on a display part 5 along with a measurement waveform. In this case, an auto scale operation part 8 is connected to the next of the linear scaling operation part 7 and automatically sets a variable A of a weighting D=A×10<n> (1<A<10), n: integer) with an equal interval of the amplitude scale line for its operation output. Also, automatic setting is made so that the value of each scale line becomes the integer multiples of A×10<n> according to each position.
