摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for properly evaluating the creep rupture life of low alloy steel on a safe side (short life side) regarding notch weakening at a part of low alloy steel such as a boiler onto which base metal stress is concentrated and an end part affected by welding heat, etc. SOLUTION: In a method for evaluating the creep rupture life of low alloy steel, notch weakening to the impurity contentβof the above-mentioned low alloy steel is examined to obtain a notch weakening coefficientαcorresponding to an impurity content threshold value to be notch weakening. A load P exerted on each sectional area A of a sample piece is multiplied by the above-mentioned coefficientαto be evaluated stressσ. The above-mentioned evaluated stress is applied to a creep rupture curve by a smoothed pest piece, and a real machine life Tr is characteristically obtained in this method for evaluating the creep rupture life of low alloy steel.
