THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition capable of manifesting permanent antistatic properties and flame retardance by compounding a resin composition comprising a rubber-reinforced styrene-based resin and a polymer having a specific electrical resistance value with a specified amount of a radical former having a specific structure. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. resin composition comprising (i) 60-99 wt.% rubber-reinforced styrene-based resin and (ii) 1-40 wt.% polymer having <=10<13>Ωcm volume resistivity value with (B) 0.01-5 pts.wt. radical former. The component (ii) is preferably a polymer containing a poly(alkylene oxide)glycol residue, a quaternary ammonium salt residue or the like. The component (B) preferably has any one of chemical bonds such as an O-O bond or a C-C bond in the molecule and further >=200 deg.C half-life of 1 min. Furthermore, a phosphorus-based flame retardant in an amount of 0.1-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. component (A) is preferably compounded in the component.
