CONNECTING STRUCTURE BETWEEN FRP SHAFT AND JOINT, AND CONNECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low-cost joint structure dispensing with complicated machining. SOLUTION: Rugged machining is applied to part of the outer peripheral surface of a boss 13 of a joint 11 inserted in the end part of an FRP shaft, by knurling teeth 19, and the outer surface of a rugged part 20 is ground by a grinding wheel 24 to form a guide part. The joint 11 is centered to the FRP shaft by the guide part and adhesively fixed by an adhesive interposed between the boss 13 and the FRP shaft.
