摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material having an excellent dynamic color developing sensitivity, heat resistances of a skin and an image, and an excellent conveyability under a high temperature and high humidity environment of a printer or the like. SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material comprising an intermediate layer containing a nonfoamable plastic hollow infinitesimal particles each having a mean particle size of 2 to 10 μm and a hollowness ratio of 90% or more as a main component, a heat sensitive color developing layer containing a leuco dye and a developer for color developing the dye at the time of heating as main components, and a protective layer sequentially laminated on a support, the color developing layer contains as the dye, a 6'-[ethyl(4- methylphenylamino)-3'-methyl-2'-(phenylamino)-spiro[isobenzofuran-1(3H), a 9'-(9H)xanthene]-3-on, as the developer, a 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone, as color developing assistant, at least one type of a compound selected from a 2,2'-bis(hydroxy-3',5'-dibromophenyl)propane, a bis(4-hydroxy-3,5-dibromophenyl) sulfone, 1,2,3-tris(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-cyclohexylphenyl) butane and a 4,4'- dihydroxybenzophenone, and the protective layer contains a resin and a crosslinker as main components.
