PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide recording and/or reproduction of an optical disk with a high transfer rate and at a low cost without complicating the constitution of the device. SOLUTION: This device comprises one system of a focusing and tracking optical system composed of plural laser diodes 1, 3, an objective lens 7 for converging the plural laser beams transmitted from the respective laser diodes 1, 3 on the different points PA, PB (different tracks) on the reflection film of an optical disk 8, a total reflection mirror 6 and half mirrors 5, 9, etc., light receiving surfaces 11A, 11B of a photodiode 11 independently receiving plural reflected light beams from the reflection film of the optical disk 8, reproducing system signal processing circuits 12, 13 for independently processing the reproduction of signals from the light receiving surfaces 11A, 11B and a synthesizing circuit 14 for synthesizing the reproducing signals of channels A, B from the reproducing system signal processing circuits 12, 13. |
