PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speedy exchange chuck device having a main body member in which a hole in the axial direction receiving a tool shank is formed. SOLUTION: A hole 18 is constituted by a plurality of grip segments 20 which can be compressed in the radial direction and are extended in the axial direction and is divided at an equal interval by slots 22 in the axial direction. Two recessed parts 28 are formed in each grip segment 20, and an operation member 44 is provided coaxially with a main body member 14 and by surrounding it. This operation member 44 forms a channel 34 having a width in the radial direction changed by the recessed part 28, and the operation member 44 can move in the axial direction for the main body member 14. A ball 38 is provided in the channel 34, and the operation member 44 can move in the axial direction between a grip position where the ball is positioned in a width part in the small radial direction and compresses the grip segment inward in the radial direction and a release position where the ball moves to a width part in the large radial direction to allow the grip segment to expand in the radial direction. |
