PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the mounting work by interposing a spacer between a plate glass and a plastic plate of transparent polycarbonate resin in the circumference so as to be capable of holding an air layer in the inner part. SOLUTION: A double glazing G is formed of a plate glass 1, a plastic plate 2, a spacer 3 provided on the circumference to connect and integrate both the plates, and an air layer 4 formed between the plate glass 1 and the plastic plate 2. As the plastic plate 2, transparent polycarbonate resin is used. By combining the plate glass 1 to the polycarbonate resin plate 2 in this way, the weight can be reduced by the portion that the specific gravity of the polycarbonate resin is light. Further, since the polycarbonate resin is highly resistant to impact and stable in strength, the lighter weight can be attained even when a thin one is used. Accordingly, this glazing is highly convenient to lift up to a high place or install in a high place because of the light weight, and the working property can be improved. |
