The guard comprises an elongated board (16) with a flat waist section (117) that has a foot section (118) and a top section (119) extending along both length sides. The foot and top sections are pivotably joined to the waist section by hinges (123). The top section is secured to a vertical surface on the inside of a wall, the foot section is secured to the underfloor (2), and the waist section slopes down towards the underfloor at an acute angle to form an air channel (49) between the sill and underfloor. The air channel is sealed airtight. |
