FIELD: machine engineering, metal working, part turning. SUBSTANCE: cutting tip of cutter is joined with metallic head mounted in support. Mounting assembly joins cutting tip and metallic head. Holder is made of vibration-suppressing highly filled polymer-base composite material. Length of head is selected in such a way that only support is in contact with cutter holder as length of head is less than that of cutter extension. EFFECT: lowered metal consumption, enhanced stability of cutter against vibration, reduced labor consumption for making it. 2 cl, 1 dwg
