FIELD: horticulture and forestry, in particular, selection and evaluation of lands for laying fruit tree or other kinds of plantations. SUBSTANCE: method involves covering (hilling) rootstock, to which crop will be subsequently grafted in mother clonal grafts nursery, with soil under test 2-3 times the season; digging out rootstock in autumn; considering soil fatigue, i.e., usefulness of soil for growing of planned crop, by extent of bud root formation.
