AGENT FOR TREATMENT AND PROPHYLAXIS OF DIARRHEA IN CALVES AND MASTITIS AND ENDOMETRITIS IN COWS

FIELD: veterinary science, cattle breeding. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes an aqueous solution of alpha-propylene glycol administrated to calves in colostrum at the second feeding. For treatment of mastitis cows 6-8 ml of 10% solution is administrated by intracisternal route and 15 ml of 10% solution is administrated by intrauterine route for treatment of cows with endometritis. The preparation stimulates the natural resistance of body, enhances the protective function of gastroenteric tract and uterine mucosa, suppresses an opportunistic microflora that provides prophylaxis and effective therapy of sicknesses and increase of animal productivity. The preparation provides an immunostimulation and prophylaxis of gastroenteric sicknesses in calves and used for treatment of cows with mastitis and endometritis.
